Day Two – Salem Haunted Happenings
Start your morning with breakfast before heading out with your local guide for a full day and evening of Salem’s Haunted Happenings! Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of Salem and a visit to the Salem Witch Museum. Step back to 1692 with a dramatic history lesson brought to life through stage sets, life-size figures, lighting, and narration that capture the terror of the infamous witch trials. Afterward, explore Pickering Wharf, a charming harborside village filled with shops, boutiques, and restaurants where you can have lunch on your own. Next, experience a “Cry Innocent: The People vs. Bridget Bishop performance.” The year is 1692, and Bridget Bishop stands accused of witchcraft. The audience sits on the Puritan jury, listening to historical testimonies and cross-examinations before deciding the verdict! Spend the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the many events Salem Haunted Happenings offers, including spell castings, ghostly walking tours, the annual Psychic Fair and Witchcraft Expo, tarot card readings, and much more. (A list of options will be provided.) This evening, gather for dinner together.
