Day One – Welcome to Lake Placid, NY
Welcome to the enchanting village of Lake Placid, NY, nestled in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Upon arrival at the Grand Adirondack Hotel in the heart of the village, you’ll receive a warm and festive welcome reception. Take some time to relax and freshen up before gathering for a delightful welcome dinner. The evening is yours to explore the village nightlife at your leisure.

Day Two – Veteran’s Memorial Highway & Olympic Legacy Sites
After breakfast, set out on a scenic drive up the Veterans Memorial Highway to the summit of Whiteface Mountain, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Adirondacks and beyond! Then, enjoy a guided tour of the Olympic Center, walking through hallways lined with plaques and banners celebrating the achievements of past Olympians. Here, you’ll find skating rinks open to the public, including the famous Herb Brooks Arena, home to the iconic “Miracle on Ice” game, and the speed skating Oval, the site of numerous Olympic and international competitions. Next, visit the Olympic Jumping Complex, a hub for ski jumping events, competitions, and athlete training. Ascend to the sky deck of the impressive 128-meter ski jump using the newly renovated scenic elevator with its glass exterior, offering a bird’s-eye view of the Adirondack High Peaks. At the top, take in the stunning 360-degree panorama of Lake Placid. Afterward, return to the hotel for some free time to explore the village. This evening, gather for another delicious dinner together.

Day Three – Raquette Lake Lunch Cruise & The Adirondack Experience
After a hearty breakfast, meet your local step-on guide and set off for the enchanting Raquette Lake. As we journey through the Adirondack Mountains, take in the stunning scenery along the way. Upon arrival at Raquette Lake, we’ll board the WW Durant for a scenic lunch cruise. Enjoy breathtaking views, fascinating history, and delicious food, creating an experience you won’t soon forget. Following the cruise, visit The Adirondack Experience Museum on Blue Mountain Lake. Now in its 61st season, the museum offers an immersive and diverse look at the region’s past, present, and future. Set on 121 acres overlooking beautiful Blue Mountain Lake, it features 24 galleries and historic buildings, as well as live demonstrations by boat builders and basket makers. After the visit, return to Lake Placid and enjoy the evening at your leisure, with an opportunity to dine at one of the many charming restaurants along Main Street.
