Day One – Welcome to Vermont!
Welcome to the green mountains of Vermont – rich with vibrant foliage during this autumn season! Arrive to our central Vermont resort for a relaxing two-night stay. Upon arrival, receive a warm greeting along with a refreshing welcome reception and take time to settle in and freshen up before enjoying a welcome dinner together.

Day Two – Robert Todd Lincoln’s Hildene, Vermont Country Store & Green Mountain Sugar House
This morning after breakfast, we’ll set out for a fun-filled day exploring quintessential Vermont! In the beautiful village of Manchester, we’ll visit Robert Todd Lincoln’s Hildene, home of Abraham Lincoln’s descendants until 1975. Tour the restored 24-room Georgian Revival mansion, hear the 1908 Aeolian Organ and explore the magnificent gardens. This afternoon, Visit the village of Weston and home to the Vermont Country Store. From the cheery ring of the Storekeeper’s bell to the friendly creak of its well-worn hardwood floors, we’ll step back to a simpler time and place. Founded in 1946, this authentic country store is stocked with 1000’s of practical and hard to find goods and wares that will surely delight! We’ll finish the afternoon off with a visit to the Green Mountain Sugar House for a maple demonstration and tastings! Return to resort for another delicious dinner followed by light entertainment.

Day Three – Quechee Gorge, Loon Mountain Gondola Ride & Winnipesaukee Railroad
Following breakfast, we’ll depart for the White Mountains of New Hampshire. En route, tour through the quintessential village of Woodstock and make a picture stop at Quechee Gorge, Vermont’s little Grand Canyon. Continue on into the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Once in Lincoln, board the four-passenger gondola sky ride and enjoy extraordinary scenery as the gondola carries you to the 3,050′ foot top of Loon Mountain, in the heart of the New Hampshire’s White Mountains. From here, we’ll continue into the Lakes Region aboard the Winnipesaukee railroad. Enjoy a nostalgic scenic excursion along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. The railroad line was built in 1849 by the Boston & Maine Railroad which brought tourists to the lake for summer vacations from the late 1890’s to the 1950’s. After our train ride, we’ll check into your hotel for another enjoyable two-night stay. Enjoy a delicious dinner tonight.

Day Four – Kennebunkport, Ogunquit, York & Lobster Cruise
This morning we’ll depart for ‘downeast’ Maine and begin with a tour of the popular summer resort of Kennebunkport. Its quaint setting appeals to artists, writers and Presidents. Enjoy a scenic drive along the ocean to Walker’s Point passes the well-known summer home of past President George HW Bush. Continue on to the seaside village of Ogunquit – named by the Abenaki Indians meaning, “Beautiful place by the sea”. Board the ‘Finest Kind’ cruises for a first hand lobstering experience! Then it’s on to the villages of York with a visit to one of the most photographed lighthouses in the country – Cape Neddick Light, popularly known as “the Nubble”. Check into our accommodations and take some time to freshen up before partaking in a traditional down east Clambake and a chance to try Maine lobster!

Day Five – Depart for home
After breakfast, we’ll bid Maine farewell and depart for home taking our fond memories of New England with us!
