Day One – Thayer Hotel Luncheon & West Point Tour
(Arrive by noon)
Welcome to the historic Hudson River Valley of New York! Begin your journey with lunch at the iconic Thayer Hotel, located on the grounds of West Point. Afterward, embark on a guided rolling tour of the United States Military Academy, the oldest military academy in the country and the nation’s oldest continuously occupied military post. Enjoy stops at Trophy Point and the Cadet Chapel. Later, check into your hotel and take some time to relax before joining the group for a planned dinner.

Day Two – FDR Presidential Library, Kingston Tour, Hudson River Cruise & Wine Tasting
After breakfast, we set out for a day of exploration in the Hudson River Valley. Your first stop is a guided Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum tour. Continue to Kingston for a guided city tour, followed by free time to have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic two-hour cruise along the Hudson River, where you’ll enjoy views of lighthouses, waterfront mansions, and other notable sites. End the day with a wine tasting at one of the area’s renowned wineries. This evening, savor a delicious dinner while admiring beautiful views of the Hudson River.

Day Three – Walkway over the Hudson, CIA Luncheon, Vanderbilt Estate & Historic Rhinebeck
After breakfast, join your local guide to discover more treasures of the Hudson River Valley. Begin with a visit to the Walkway over the Hudson, the world’s longest pedestrian bridge. Enjoy a guided tour featuring stories about its past, present, and future. Next, indulge in a special luncheon at the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America (CIA), where students prepare and serve the meal. This afternoon, visit the Vanderbilt Mansion, one of the region’s oldest Hudson River estates and a stunning example of Gilded Age wealth. Conclude the day in the charming village of Rhinebeck, where you’ll have time to shop, explore, and dine. Tonight, enjoy another delicious group dinner.

Day Four – Rockefeller’s Kykuit
After breakfast, visit and tour Kykuit, the historic home of four generations of the Rockefeller family, starting with John D. Rockefeller, the founder of Standard Oil and once the richest man in America. After the tour, depart for home with many wonderful memories of the treasures of the Hudson River Valley!
