Day One – Welcome to Newport, RI
Welcome to Newport, RI, the world’s sailing capital and home to stunning Gilded Age mansions! This afternoon, arrive at your Newport area hotel for a fun-filled four-night stay. Enjoy a planned dinner together this evening.

Day Two – Newport Tour, Newport Mansion & Schooner Cruise
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then set out for a guided tour of Newport. The Gilded Age comes alive as you explore Newport and hear about the lives of Newport’s high society in the 1800s. Enter the world of the Vanderbilts, Astor’s, and the wealthiest Gilded Age tycoons as you travel down Bellevue Avenue, lined with stunning mansions and gardens. Take in the rugged beauty of Ten Mile Ocean Drive, featuring magnificent ocean views and historic Fort Adams. After the tour, visit either Marble House or The Elms mansion. Enjoy free time for lunch on your own in Newport’s Harborfront area, which is filled with shops, a brick marketplace, and eateries.
In the afternoon, embark on a scenic Schooner Champagne Cruise around Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay, enjoying the excitement of sailing in the Sailing Capital of America aboard a classic schooner. Sip champagne as you glide past fabulous coastal sites, Gilded Age mansions, Newport’s Yacht Club, Jacqueline Kennedy’s summer home, the Newport Bridge, the Rock House, and more. Tonight, enjoy another delicious dinner in Newport.

Day Three – Block Island Cruise, Luncheon & Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Point Judith to meet your guide and board the Block Island Ferry for a cruise to the famous Block Island. This island, located 12 miles off the coast of Newport, has been heralded as “one of the twelve best-unspoiled areas in the Western Hemisphere” and is known for its relaxed way of life. Step back in time and enjoy a planned luncheon at one of the island’s historic hotels. Following lunch, enjoy a guided tour of Block Island, taking in spectacular views of rolling dunes, dazzling beaches, and the Victorian village. Return to the mainland in the afternoon and enjoy a planned dinner together.
